Coilt Transport Carts CTW with pike qualify excellent for

• Transport of coils between Coil receiving department and the coil storage place
• Transfer of coils into coil storage and out of coil storage
• Supply of coils to coil loading tables of coil feeding lines
• Loading and offloading of coil tilting tables 
• Transport of coils everywhere where no end-to-end crane runway is available (for example between
   single  areas of a building or between single buildings)

The maximum lifting stroke of a Coil Transport Car with pike always is defined customer-specific. It is depending on the planned use of the cart as well as on the height of the coil storage which has to be used. The mast of the Coil Transport Car CTW is optimised accordingly.

A big advantage of a Coil Transport Car CTW with pike is its extreme manoeuvrability. As it does transport the load between its front load wheels within the front legs and the rear drive wheel, and not in front of the cart, its chassis length is very short. This is possible because it does not need a counterweight. Therefore it can be used even at very narrow places with very small space only.

Coil transport carts with pike are available up to 50 tons coil weight.
